Our Credo

We believe our responsibility is to all stakeholders associated with Toyota of Bellingham...That's the Bellingham Way.

We believe it is our responsibility to help our customers find the value in our vehicles and the benefit of services associated with longer vehicle life. We must offer safe vehicles and recommend services that make them safer and more reliable. In meeting their needs, everything must be of high quality. We must constantly communicate with our customers and acknowledge the commitment we have to them. Customers' current and future vehicles and all services attached must be taken care of promptly and accurately. We must be humble and acknowledge when we are wrong and be thankful when we are appreciated. We must strive to continually make our customers' experience better and value their time as much as ours.

We are responsible to our employees who dedicate themselves to the Bellingham Way. Everyone must be considered as an individual. We must respect their dignity and recognize their merit. We must support them with the coaching necessary for them to thrive at their jobs and in their personal and career development. We must afford them every opportunity to make a fair and adequate living. We must give them the resources to be successful and the expectations to maintain their integrity in all they do. We must be mindful of their families and the responsibilities associated. Our leadership will have an open door policy and employees must feel free to make suggestions and complaints. There must be equal opportunity for employment, development, and advancement for those qualified. We must provide competent management, and their actions must be just and ethical.

We are responsible to our community in which we live and work. We must be good citizens- support good works and charities and bear our fair share of taxes. We must encourage civic improvements and better health and education. We must maintain in good order the property we are privileged to use, protecting the environment and natural resources.

Our final responsibility is to our Manufacturers and Dealer. Business must make a sound profit. We must be aware of costs. We must experiment with new ideas and innovative new programs. Mistakes must be paid for. Reserves must be created to provide for adverse times. We must take pride in the Toyota of Bellingham name and associate our actions with a level of commitment that exemplifies integrity.

We must believe we are the Bellingham Way and look at every opportunity or interaction as a chance to be proactive. If we can't have integrity ... we will have nothing at all.
